CCcleaner are divided into two separate tabs. The first tab explores files and clusters of Window's System folder and the second explores Applications. CCcleaner provides the ability to erase cookies, temp files, URL's etc. The cleaner feature is also able to cancel the auto-complete form from your Internet Explorer history. Any of these features can be checked or unchecked depending on the type of information one would want to retain.
The CCcleaner tab for the Windows Explorer offers you a drop down menu with a list of choices. The cleaner assists in modifying the "Run" menu, the search assistant auto-complete and other Explorer MRU's. Under The Windows 'System' drop down menu you can empty the recycle bin, erasing the clipboard, delete temporary files, freeing memory dumps, clearing the Chkdsk file fragments plus Windows log files and old underused data.
Also available is the advanced version for the Windows drop down menu that consists of: Tray Notifications Cache, Menu Order Cache, Windows Size/Location Cache, IIS log files, User Assist History, Custom Files Folders and Hot fix installers.
Under the Software 'applications' tab, you are offered complete clean-up for web browsers such as Opera and Firefox. The cleaner also offers instant search and removal of wasted file clusters in folders of Adobe Acrobat, Nero and the popular Google Earth
Beside the Cleaner feature, an 'Issues' menu is available that displays the Integrity of the Registry entries along with the File Integrity. In the 'Tools' menu, an easy uninstall is presented to remove futile programs. Finally, the 'Options' menu allows adjusting personal settings.
