What causes 0x00000000 error?The 0x00000000 error is widely greeted with sighs and frustration. It is, for good reason, one of the most infuriatingly hard errors to get rid of. It’s also notorious for being one of the most cryptic. Appearing in many different forms and many different error keys, there’s no guaranteed fix for the 0x00000000 without considering the specific circumstances by which it has arisen. If you plug the 0x00000000 error in to the official Microsoft website – a first stop for anything like this – you’ll immediately be confronted by pages upon pages of different errors ranging from causes related to virtual machines, to broken hardware to failed drivers and registry entries. The one thing we can say for sure is that if you’re receiving a 0x00000000, you’re dealing with a fault in the system’s memory. The error message will usually give away a nice pointer of what the exact cause is. If you’re getting mentions of bad memory, or incorrect references, you may want to look at your parity and Error Correction Codes.
